They are also mixed with Meena family. Instead of the major part of the Muslim residents in Rajasthan, the Meos number around 2,000,000 (according to 1984 records). They are swarming into the Alwar and Bharatpur districts in the north eastern part of the position, In addition to the Gurgaon District of the flanking state of Haryana. The areas of the three districts where they exist are together called Mewat, a orientation to their preeminence in the part. Meos speak Mewati, a foreign language of the Indo-Iranian part of the Indo-European speech family, and live in a family society. The greater part is unqualified and is at this time classed under Other Backward Class (OBC).
